We have been visiting the ADK Balloon Festival in Glens Falls for SEVEN years now! It's a great tradition for our family. This year, we went to the evening balloon lift instead of the early morning one.
Wake up, play with the baby

While Big B practices piano (he officially started lessons this month!)
There is horsing around
CC patiently waits for us all to get ready
We head out for a morning of soccer! L's team (the "Hot Shots") played very well.
Next up, B's team (the "Lawnmowers") warm up before their game.
After soccer, the boys are all tired and we jump in the car to head north for the balloons!
We get to Glens Falls, unload our bags and get back on the road again, trying to reach the airport as soon as possible! We are a little late, and the balloons have already started flying.
It was a gorgeous drive, watching all the balloons in the air.
We park far off-site, and hike into the airport.
There are still some balloons tethered on the ground, and B is delighted to see this DRAGON one!
The sunset is absolutely gorgeous
We head back to our friend's house and quickly put some pizzas in the oven for dinner.
CC is so strong now-- she can lift her head so easily! And she's very proud of herself.
