A Wintry Wonderland
The fireplace is glowing cozily
Someone is REALLY happy for a snow day!
Mimosas on a Monday
Mama makes CC oatmeal for breakfast
Daddy is feeling under the weather, so he takes a COVID test-- it's negative
Lazy morning watching TV
Send the kids outside to deplete their energy
Once inside, they carefully hang up their wet/cold snow gear and have a treat of hot chocolate with marshmallows
A snow day calls for clean sheets
Time for lunch! Sandwiches, apple slices, and blueberries
Big B is feeling tired, so he heads upstairs for a nap
The rest of the kids head outside to play some more
It is wet, heavy snow-- perfect for packing into bricks and making a fort!
Or a snowman
While the kids are playing, Mama shovels a path on the back deck
Back inside, it's time for four rounds of Monopoly, Jr.
And some baking
G-Nana folds our laundry-- thank goodness she's here!
We are keeping her numbers (mostly) in order
Dinner is a snow day tradition-- FONDUE (very tasty)
Post-dinner screens, baths, and TV time for adults

Teeth brushing and book reading-- Good night, DITL!
