I follow many birth-y blogs, blogs about birth safety, blogs about natural childbirth, blogs which highlight birth stories for different women. Today, my perusal of these blogs in my feed brought up the following articles:

Both focus on completely different topics and bring up many conflicting ideas and feelings.
I love that the topics of pregnancy, labor, and delivery are so multi-faceted and one can look at them from a purely scientific viewpoint or from a personal stand. Even though our family is definitely NOT expanding, I am still interested in and passionate about the entire childbirth process. My challenge is to share that interest and passion for education about childbirth with others without getting too "preachy".
