Transitions

The boys seem to grow larger and larger every day. We generally don't notice until suddenly B is standing on the counter, having pushed over his step stool and climbed up, or L is standing on tiptoe and reaching objects on a table that were previously unattainable.

Since the boys are growing so quickly, we are thinking seriously of transitioning them into more age-appropriate things.
We have decided that, after our big move, Big B will no longer need a booster seat to sit at the dinner table. Daddy thinks that, while we're at it, we should transition Little L from the high chair to the booster. Mama is resisting this idea because... well, shouldn't Little L stay 'little' a while longer?

One transition that we'd all LOVE to make is to get Big B completely out of diapers and pull-ups. In this instance, it's not Mama or Daddy holding him back, but B himself. He is resisting our every effort to suggest using the potty instead of the pull-up and will regularly sneak away to do his 'business', only after announcing to us "I'm dirty" or "I'm wet". To say this is frustrating is putting it lightly. We can't WAIT to make this transition and have only one boy in diapers!  It's been three long years in the making.
