We hosted a welcome summer/birthday party at the "Carriage House" for friends and family we hadn't seen since the beginning of the COVID quarantine.

She's pretty grumpy until she has some breakfast, but then it's all smiles the rest of the day.
See? Daddy helps the boys in the loft to connect their devices and play on screens.
Mama and CC take out the new (to us-- Thanks, G-Nana!) kayak for a spin around the bay.
Cousins spend the early morning time fishing.
Soon, they are all jumping into the lake for some fun swimming.
CC stops swimming for a moment to devour yogurt.
We take a walk up the hill to explore the new neighborhood.
Super J caught a big fish! He's so proud of himself
But refuses to touch the fish. Eventually, he does and then we let it swim away.

I've made 4 different types of cupcakes (one for each child) for the party. We have classic vanilla, carrot cake, strawberry-lemonade, and mint-chocolate. Can you guess which cupcake was meant for which child?
