2021 September DITL: A Sunny Sunday

We had a very busy, beautiful September Sunday!

Early morning breakfast and screen time

Daddy is organist at church this morning; he rehearses the hymns

We arrive a little early and I take the littles to the nursery to play before service begins.

Church happens. Only minor amounts of whining this week!

After the service is over, we send the kids outside to burn off some energy before heading home.

We stop by the farm to check on the dogs and steal many tomatoes to make into homemade sauce.

Skateboarding in the driveway after we return home

Back in the car to begin the rest of our Sunday adventures!

We are at Schuyler Farms to walk the corn maze with friends! There are two bridges, five checkpoints, and eager children who each want to take a turn as line leader and chooser of our paths.

We made it out together!

After finishing the corn maze, we enjoy the other activities.

Super J has TONS of funs using the pump to race rubber ducks while the bigger boys race around and around the track.

The kids each get a bag to "pan" for treasures like seashells and Herkimer diamonds.

A great afternoon filled with fun! But CC is melting down from being over-tired, so we head out in the car again.

Where are we heading now?

We stop by Ballston Spa (A Village of Friends) to visit with friends and play some more! CC and Nat also spend some time splashing in the kiddie pool filled with freezing water. Boys ride bikes, play BeyBlades, and walk to the neighborhood park with their friends.

We get home and the kids have some screen time while the adults sit down for a minute.

Dinner of cheeseburgers, salad, applesauce, and broccoli is devoured by all.

Kids help to make the kitchen clean after dinner

Finish the long day with a glass of wine and episode of Schitt's Creek.
See you in October, DITL!
