A busy summer Tuesday at the Lake and with friends!
Pepper always wants to go out (and come back in) 47 times in the early morning hours.
CC has yogurt for breakfast; Super J has yogurt for 2nd breakfast
Mama and Daddy have runs for breakfast, followed by actual food

Today is a big laundry morning-- all the kids need clean sheets and nearly everyone is out of clean clothing!

Everyone gets sunscreen before we leave on our morning excursion...
First to the Westerlo library to return lots of books...
Then to the Town Park to swing on the big swings and get out some energy!
Back home, I research cake recipes. Unfortunately, the big boys ate all the eggs for breakfast so I have to be creative with my substitutes!
Daddy pulls together some grilled ham-and-cheese sandwiches while Mama supervises pre-lunch swimming
L learns another Rubiks cube algorithm
Everyone goes for a short nap while Mama bakes the cake and reads in the window seat
Donut cake is out and smelling delicious!

Mama clears the bed from all the laundry, makes up the bunks upstairs with clean sheets, then collapses for a 20 min snooze

Not many pictures from our friends' house, but the kids played badminton, practiced archery, and had a water balloon fight!
Dinner was excellent with pulled pork, pasta salad, veggies, and a jello-filled watermelon

Stop quickly at our house to pick up a few items, then drive back to the lake house
It's late, everyone else is in bed but Big B is finishing his pre-bedtime burrito.
